In order to explore for graphite associated with a VTEM airborne electromagnetic response, the program comprised drilling a total of four holes around 200m apart along a strike length of 600m.
A thick sequence of graphitic schist has been intersected at all four holes, containing varying amounts of graphite.
Tawsho president and CEO Steve Balch said that the samples are being analyzed and will assist in confirming whether the mineralization is of sufficient grade for further exploration.
"We have intersected thick intervals of graphitic schist in all four holes confirming that the geophysical response we are targeting is due to conductive graphite and that the graphite has substantial strike length and thickness," Balch added.
Currently, Tawsho is developing its Whisker Valley property located in Baie Verte Peninsula, Newfoundland and its Chevrier property in the Chibougamau region of Quebec, Canada.
