As part of the deal, Tatneft will supply around 200,000 tonnes of oil per month for the refinery through the Druzhba pipeline, according to traders.
Traders was quoted by Reuters as saying that the Lotos has been in talks with Russia’s oil company Rosneft on another direct supply contract.
Tatneft exported around 12 million tonnes or 240,000 barrels per day, including 3.7 million tonnes through Druzhba, in 2012.
Druzhba, which is a Soviet-built pipe, is the main oil supply route from Russia to Europe.
