The Philippines Department of Energy has awarded service contracts to the company for a 300MW project in Pililia, Rizal, a 10MW project in Ilagen, Isabela, and a further 10MW scheme in Buguias, Benguet.

The contracts include a two year pre-development clause which will allow Trans-Asia to carry out feasibility studies for the three projects.

"Upon declaration of commerciality, each of the projects shall proceed to the development stage which is valid for 25 years," Trans-Asia Oil and Energy Development said.

Separately, the company, through Trans-Asia Power Generation, is developing a 54MW wind farm in San Lorenzo, Guimaras which is scheduled to be operational late in 2014.
