The thermal power plant in Moscow will produce 220 MW of electricity and about 300 MW of district heat. Commissioning of the plant will take place in 2013.
The thermal power plant in Sochi will produce more than 360 MW of electricity and the same amount of district heat. The plant will be constructed in connection with the preparation for the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014. Commissioning of the plant is scheduled for August 2012.
Both the contracts are Owner’s Engineering work where Sweco’s role is to be the client’s engineering arm throughout the whole project, said the company.
