The tests of hydraulic turbines were carried out by absolute thermodynamic method.
Based on the results of the preliminary report, Turboatom stated that it guarantees on capacity and efficiency of the turbine.
The company said the capacity of the turbine reached 434.6MW, with weighted average efficiency of 426.13MW, as specified in the contract.
Turboatom has been awarded the contract in 2008, to design two Francis hydrounits for La Yesca HPP.
In 2010, the company supplied the two units with each having a capacity of 380MW and runner diameter of 5.3m with built-in ring valves.
The two turbines were simultaneously placed into operation in October and November 2012.
