SVTC Technologies, LLC (SVTC) has appointed Joseph R. Bronson as its new chief executive officer (CEO). Bronson has more than two decades of experience in the semiconductor industry. Prior to this, he served president and chief operating officer of Sanmina-SCI Corp. Previously, Bronson has served as chief financial officer of Applied Materials. He was also co-CEO of FormFactor, Inc. Bronson currently serves on the board of directors for Maxim Integrated Products and Jacobs Engineering Group.

Bronson is also the Chair of the Leavey School of Business Advisory Board at Santa Clara University. He received a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Connecticut School of Business and a B.A. from Fairfield University, in Fairfield, Conn.

Dave Bergeron, former CEO of SVTC, will become the company’s chief technology officer (CTO), and will focus on the company’s technical products and services offerings including business development.
