As part of the order, Suzlon will deploy 48 of its S97-120 turbines at the Bhesada wind site in Jaisalmer district, Rajasthan.
The company will also manage operations, maintenance and services at the facility.
Suzlon said the order is the first for its new 120m tower and its lattice-and-tubular structure, which is claimed to be the tallest in the Indian market.
The contract sees ReNew Wind return to Suzlon for the third time, after deploying over 100MW of the company’s turbines at its wind farms in Gujarat and Maharashtra.
ReNew Power has more than 450 MWs of installed and operational clean energy capacity in the Indian states of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Gujarat.
ReNew Wind Power chairman & CEO Sumant Sinha said the agreement reinforces the company’s commitment to develop sustainable energy solutions for India.
"Our partnership with Suzlon has added momentum to this mission," Sinha added.
Suzlon Energy president of sales & marketing Ishwar Mangal said the order has added a fillip to the company’s order book.
