The wind turbines to be supplied by Suzlon will be installed at the 100WM power projects to be developed by Orient Green.
According to the terms of the contract, Suzlon will supply 48 units of its S95 wind turbines, which are a part of its newly introduced S9X suite.
Orient will commission the plants by the mid of 2012, with 50.4MW project in Gujarat to start operations by May 2012, and the other 50.4MW of power projects in Karnataka will begin operations by June 2012.
Orient Power is a part of Shriram EPC and has about 198MW of operational wind projects.
