The company said that the two new offices will complement Suntech’s existing European headquarters in London, UK, providing greater geographic coverage and access for its customers.
Over the next 12 months, the company plans to extend its European network with offices in Italy, Greece and Switzerland giving it a network of local support in key European solar markets and financial centers.
Zhengrong Shi, Suntech’s chairman and CEO, said: We are very pleased to expand our sales and customer service capabilities in Europe with the opening of these two offices in Germany and Spain. Our on-the-ground presence will help us to manage the exceptional demand for Suntech solar products that we are seeing in both Germany and Spain in 2008.
