The Uterne power project comprises of nearly 3,000 high-efficiency SunPower solar photovoltaic panels, that are installed on SunPower’s single-axis T20 Tracker system.
Power and Water Corp will buy the electricity generated by the solar power project at a guaranteed price, under a 20-year power purchase agreement.
As part of the Alice Solar City program, the Australian Government contributed AUD3.3m ($3.64m) to the Uterne project, valued at AUD6.6m ($7.28m).
