The Fairview Parkway installation, called the best LED lighting job I’ve seen, by Karl A. Burkett, P.E., former senior lighting design engineer for the Texas Department of Transportation, meets or exceeds all national roadway lighting illumination standards.

Fairview Mayor Sam Israeloff stated, “We are very, very pleased to have partnered with Sunovia. We encourage other communities to consider Sunovia and their LED lighting products for their own needs.”

Matt Donnell, assistant to the town manager of Fairview, stated, “Wherever we can feasibly find a way to use Sunovia’s LED lighting solutions, and save money for the taxpayer on government property, we’re going to do that. So we’re not just going to stop with Fairview Parkway, because we have a nice, big mixed-use development center there, and that’s the reason we’ve brought in LED lighting. It’s to save costs, to be a leader in this technology and to show people that you can be effective by spending maybe a little more money upfront, but you recoup your cost within three years, and with the status of the economy nowadays, people really want to know where their money is going, especially if they are paying taxes.”

Sunovia’s LED lighting fixtures, sold under the brand name EvoLucia, produce the improved uniform photometric in the industry. The EvoLucia fixtures are proprietary products of Sunovia, and are exclusively designed for Sunovia by Rick Kauffman, the current chairman of the standard practice sub-committee of the Roadway Lighting Committee of the IESNA.

Sunovia Energy is a US-based developer and marketer of solar powered substrates and LED lighting technologies.
