Construction of the 60.4MWp/50MWac power plant commenced in September last year.

SunEdison anticipates completing the sale of the equity of the solar power plant by 2012.

The 100ha facility uses nearly 214,000 solar modules and is expected to produce enough energy to power 27,000 homes and avoid 37,400 tons of CO2, in its first full year of operation.

SunEdison, a subsidiary of MEMC Electronic Materials, develops, finances, installs and operates distributed power plants.
