NBAZ has agreed to provide long-term debt for SunEdison to build projects for the prison and hospital systems of the state.
SunEdison said that Sol Systems advised Nationwide Mutual Insurance on the acquisition of the equity in the transaction.
SunEdison will manage the plants through their 24/7 Renewable Operations Center (ROC), once construction of the facilities will be completed.
SunEdison Capital president Carlos Domenech said the company will continue to help shareholders and finance partners extract more value from projects and create new opportunities to finance and build distributed generation solar power plants.
"Financing is a critical element of any solar project, and having partners who are willing to innovate with us is critical to our growth," Domenech added.
