Suez, which is engaged in the distribution and sale of electricity and natural gas, has reported revenues of E13.7 billion for the first quarter of 2008, representing total growth of 12.3% and organic growth of 9.9%, compared to E12.2 billion for the same period of 2007.

The company reported EBITDA of E2.3 billion for the first quarter of 2008, representing total growth of 11.4% and organic growth of 12.7%, compared to E2.1 billion for the same period of 2007.

Total revenues in the natural gas and electricity segments (made up of Suez Energy Europe and Suez Energy International) amounted to E7.7 billion, with organic growth of 12.4%.

The company reported that sales of electricity rose to E3.5 billion, compared to E3.07 billion for the same period of 2007, with organic growth of 13.8%.
