Belgian energy group Suez-Tractebel has sold a 17.22% stake in Peruvian utility Energia del Sur (Enersur) for Ps261.65 million ($77.2 million).
Suez, which held almost 79% of the company, sold 34 million shares at a price of Ps7.60 ($2.24) per share on the Peruvian stock exchange. The share issue will be used to purchase a hydroelectric power plant in the country.
