Under the contract, the company will engineer, procure, construct, and install (EPIC) a 6km flowline and flexible riser system. It will also install the associated subsea structures, protection systems, and tie-ins at the field.
Subsea 7 Norway vice president Stuart Fitzgerald said, "We look forward to working closely with Talisman to deliver the project safely and in accordance with Talisman’s objectives".
The company will immediately start working on the engineering and project management aspects at its Stavanger office and will begin the offshore operations in the second quarter of 2013.
