THE EXPRESS from Hawke International, a new EExe push-in stopping plug for use in hazardous areas, has received Baseefa accreditation.
The ATEX compliant plug is suitable for enclosures in Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 and also meets IP66 ingress protection requirements. The plugs are certified for operation in temperatures from –40°C to +80°C.
The introduction of the ExPress stopping plug coincides with the extension of the EZE enclosure range. The EZE 62 enclosure has a face area of 624mm x 319mm and a depth of 183mm. This can accommodate up to 60 M20 cable entries and a maximum of 190 WDU 2.5 terminals, says Hawke. There are three models in the EZE range with one, two or three factory fitted gland plates. These can remain blank for on-site drilling or be pre-drilled to the customer’s specification.
