Statkraft and Eramet Norway have signed a new long-term power contract for the period 2021-2030.

The total volume is about 8 TWh and consolidates Statkraft’s role as a large and important partner for power-intensive industries in Norway.

Norwegian hydropower represents solid and long-term deliveries that fit well with the industry's need for stable power supply throughout the year.

"We have a good and long-standing relation with Eramet Norway and we collaborate in several areas. Our goal is to offer a total package that makes Statkraft an attractive and preferred partner for power-intensive industry in Norway even in the future. The agreement with Eramet Norway is an important step towards this goal, says EVP of Statkraft Hallvard Granheim.

The agreement shows that Statkraft is a competitive supplier to Norwegian industry competing in a global market.
