The two-in-one reusable envelope will now be the mode of interaction – direct mail and invoicing for the communications company.
It is indented to ensure an easier bill payment option, minimizing mailing costs, reducing paper usage and overall lower the negative impact on environment.
Sprint VP of Care and Billing Services Scott Rice said more than 30% of the company’s accounts currently use a paperless billing option, many customers prefer to receive a paper invoice.
"The new bill format not only gives our customers a convenient method to remit payment but it will reduce paper waste, conserve natural resources, and lower paper consumption for Sprint," said Rice.
The company is expected to save more than $500,000 in operational costs and 447 tons of paper and reducing 2.6 million pounds of CO2 emissions, 1,669 tons of wood, 9,931,834 gallons of water 859,047 pounds of solid waste.
