This project helps the company expand its existing pipeline system to deliver additional Appalachian and Marcellus Shale natural gas supplies to various US markets.

Under this project, the company will install additional pipeline and compression on its mainline system in Pennsylvania, US.

The TEAM 2012 project will provide additional capacity of up to 200 million cubic feet per day and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2012.

Spectra Energy said it has entered into binding agreements with Range Resources and Chesapeake Utilities for this firm transportation capacity.
