The final rehabilitation and safety plans filing as well as the resource tax payment had been accepted and approved by the government.

After completion of all payments with regard to the license, Sparton will own 85% of the Huajun Mine.

The mining license covers 820m² and extends 225m vertically below the lowest level previously developed in the mine.

Sparton has plans to resume operations at the mine immediately to re-establish its germanium concentrates.

The company expects to commence new production from Huajun in about eight weeks following the rehabilitation of underground infrastructure.

Huajun coal mine is a consolidation of Chuang Zhong, 306, and Defu mines on the property and will now be operated under Haujun.

Indicated germanium contained in coal under the license area includes more than 40t of extractable germanium metal.
