Under the contract for White River hydro project, ACS’ unit Dragados Canada will build two hydroelectric power plants featuring two turbines each, located 10km apart.
The company will also oversee the construction of the two dams and related infrastructure, including access roads and a 21km transmission line connecting the power plants to the grid.
Construction of the project is scheduled for completion within 20 months, the company said.
