The ground mounted plant is located in the city of Nancy and is one of three that constitute the 115MW Toul-Rosieres solar park.
Commenting on the development Sonnedix chairman Franck Constant termed the financing for the project one of the largest in the continent.
HSH Nordbank senior vice president of renewable energy Romain Peteuil added, "We are very proud to working with Sonnedix who demonstrates highly professional and entrepreneurial values in line with our strategy"
The plant started electricity generation earlier in 2012 and adds 26GWh renewable energy to Sonnedix’s European portfolio.
