Solyndra’s cylindrical, thin film PV systems are designed to generate electricity on an annual basis from low-slope commercial rooftops, while providing lower installation costs than conventional flat panel PV technologies, the company said.

Headquartered in Fremont, California, Solyndra designs and manufactures PV systems, comprised of panels and mounting hardware, for the commercial rooftop market.
