The 105-acre solar field uses Schletter’s proven FS System, which allows the solar PV field to quickly achieve completion in order to produce carbon-free energy production, SOLON said.
Consisting of a high level of pre-assembled components, the FS System is installed using a hydraulic ram (called the GAYK).
SOLON’s project in the Central Valley consists of more than 8,000 individual FS posts as well as supporting module rails.
Schletter Sales and Marketing vice president Sven Kuenzel said the installation of this solar system in heavily corrosive soils in combination with cathodic protection system is another aspect of this project.
