The new Solarwatt Carport System offers a solution with glass-glass modules for charging the vehicle’s battery with solar electricity.
Solarwatt CEO Detlef Neuhaus said that the partnership with BMW i showcases the value of the company’s new energy supply systems.
BMW i 360° Electric Project director Marcus Krieg said, "This partnership promotes our primary goal of offering sustainable and customer-friendly means of conveniently charging their vehicles in their own garage when the BMW i3 and BMW i8 are introduced on the market.
