Solar Green Technology completes 12MW Century project in Italy

The project consists of industrial rooftop PV plants that range between 300KW-1000KW and are spread across the country.

Solar Green Technology has completed about 7.8MW of the project with LDK Solar providing close to 40% financing for the project.

Commenting on the project Solar Green Technology managing director Angelo Prete remarked that the project is one of the largest rooftop PV plants in the country.

"The strategic partnership between the parties involved confirms that the integration and cooperation among industry players, such as module manufacturers, EPC contractors and financial operators, can lead the development and implementation of projects in Italy with a goal of moving toward grid parity," said Prete.

The project was developed under the guidelines of the Fourth Conto Energia, issued by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Environment to provide incentives to developers based on the type and size of the PV system.
