The CPV technology provides 30% efficiency while reducing installation and maintenance costs while providing environmental sustainability.
This technology is designed for high-volume power generation in regions with high direct normal irradiation (DNI) with Soitec recently completing a solar facility in Catania, Sicily.
Soitec Solar Energy Division Solar Projects Development vice president Jose Beriot remarked that the technology will provide the highest power-generating efficiency, making it a perfect match for Italy’s solar initiatives.
