The oil contaminated water cleaning facility INSTEB have been installed on the terminal for cleaning oil-filled waters, according to ABC.AZ.

The facility carries out gradual cleaning and decontamination of oil containing water, passing the polluted materials through its sand and coal filter that includes a number of processes.

The first stage is an Oil Catcher INSTEB, also known as ‘Oil Trapping Facility’ for extraction of oil and oil products and their residential from industrial and rain waters and then refining the concentration of these residuals in water to accepted limits.

The main characteristic feature of this facility is that the productivity reaches 20cubic meters per hour and the second phase is the three-stage filter intended for double cleaning (processing) of oil-containing water.

The contents of contaminants in cleaned water after passing the filter do not exceed the established norms.
