Transport and dispatching tariffs for the thermal year 2008-09 have been determined on the basis of updated revenue figures, the additional revenue of E39 million related to investments made in the first regulatory period and the additional revenue of E233 million related to investments carried out in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
Snam Rete Gas said that the actual revenues for the thermal year 2008-09 will take into account the growth of transported volumes. The company’s regulatory asset base as of December 31, 2007 for the energy transportation business has been set at E12.2 billion.
The introduction of an additional fee has been confirmed, also for the thermal year 2008–09, to cover the extra costs for fuel gas and network losses. The value of this fee will be defined by the authority with a specific resolution.
