The surveys have been carried out as part of Western Athabasca Syndicate’s Winter Field Program at the 246,643ha property.
The project is claimed to be the largest individual property proximal to Fission Uranium’s Patterson Lake South (PLS) high-grade uranium discovery and the recent discovery made by NexGen Energy on the Rook one project.
The 1,234 station gravity survey, which was completed over four grids in the Depper Lake area, detected a total of seven circular gravity low anomalies located along prospective coincident electromagnetic (EM) conductors and magnetic breaks defined by the 2014 airborne versatile time domain electromagnetic (VTEM) survey.
Subsequently, RadonEx radon surveys were performed over the seven gravity anomalies and at four additional gravity anomalies identified in 2014 at the Canoe target.
The 273 station RadonEx survey reported significant radon cluster anomalies with up to 0.40 pCi/m2/sec in soil (RFM samples), and up to 10.36 pCi/l in water.
The company identified six high priority targets based on the combined results of the 2014-2015 gravity and RadonEx surveys. The targets will undergo ground based horizontal loop electromagnetic (HLEM) surveys.
Skyharbour will use the combined results of these surveys to prioritize and refine targets for a proposed drill program at Preston project this summer.
