SJVN chairman and managing director RP Singh was quoted by Jagran Post as saying that the detailed report of these projects have already been completed and submitted to the Central Electricity Authority for approval.

In addition, SJVN also submitted the pre-feasibility report for three projects in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh – 378MW Kameng-I, 80MW Doimukh Projects and 60MW Rangarandi Stage-II – to the local government.

Singh added that the survey and investigation works on the Si-River basin in Arunachal Pradesh is in progress.

SJVN is a joint venture of the Government of India (GOI) and the Government of Himachal Pradesh (GOHP) to plan, execute, operate and maintain hydro-electric power projects.
