Under a four-year contract signed with Cannon Power, Siemens will provide maintenance services for a total of 114 SWT 2.3 93 wind turbines in the Windy Flats and Windy Flats Extension wind farms in Washington.
In Oregon, Iberdrola Renewables has awarded Siemens a five-year extension on service, warranty and maintenance contract for 44 wind turbines in its Klondike III wind project. In addition, Summit Power has extended an existing service contract for 89 wind turbines at its White Creek wind farm in Washington by another two years.
Siemens claims that it has developed a flexible spectrum of services that can be tailored to the specific needs of its customers. The goal is to assure a high level of equipment availability throughout the wind farms’ operating lifetimes.
