The latest deals follows a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed in last November.
Ende Andina is the operator and owner of cycle power plants Termoelectrica del Sur, Termoelectrica de Warnes and Termoelectrica Entre Rios. The expansion will increase the generating capacity of the cycle power plants by more than 1GW.
Under the deal, Siemens will provide 14 SGT-800 gas turbines, 11 SST-400 steam turbines with condensers, 22 steam generators for the cycle power plants.
The company will also supply the instrumentation and control system SPPA-T3000 for the power facilities.
Situated south of Bolivia, the Termoelectrica del Sur thermal power plant will be installed with additional four SGT-800 gas turbines, four steam turbines and eight steam generators.
Termoelectrica de Warnes, which is situated in the Warnes province, will be equipped with four SGT-800 gas turbines, four SST-400 steam turbines and eight steam generators.
The Termoelectrica Entre Rios power plant in Cochabamba will be installed with six SGT-800 gas turbines, three SST-400 steam turbines and six steam generators.
Spanish industrial group TSK will carry out civil works, and deliver high-voltage substations for the facilities.
The company will also take responsibility for the balance of plant, as well as mechanical and electrical erection of the projects.
Siemens power and gas division CEO Willi Meixner said: "Siemens is supporting Bolivia’s ongoing efforts to improve access to electric power of its growing population and developing economy.
"With these binding agreements for three combined cycle power plants we have taken another important step in this direction and help Bolivia to protect its energy sovereignty."
