Siemens Energy has secured a follow-up order from British power company Bioflame to supply a steam turbine generator in small scale decentralized recycling and landfill sites in Nottinghamshire county, UK.

The company will supply a SST-110 turbine generator including gear and oil system as well as auxiliary systems.

Commissioning of the project is scheduled for the end of 2011.

Siemens said it delivers the fifth turbine in a row to Bioflame, which has already secured planning permission for 17 biomass incinerators.

Yorkshire-based Bioflame develops biomass incinerators that generate ecofriendly power and heat by burning waste wood.
