The company will configure, deliver and support the project implementation, which began in June.

Siemens said a comprehensive MDMS will provide WPPI personnel with the visibility and capability to use meter data to perform load forecasting and analysis, provide peak load management, develop new pricing programs and enable new demand response programs.

This implementation will be hosted on-site at the WPPI facilities in Sun Prairie in the US state of Wisconsin, and will be shared to support other member-owned utilities the company services.

WPPI Energy is a regional power company serving 51 consumer-owned electric utilities in the US states of Wisconsin, Michigan and Iowa.
