Germany’s Siemens Power Generation has received two orders for the supply of a total of 27 turbines for wind in Germany and Greece.

Four wind farms with a total of 13 turbines will be located in the Western part of Germany near the border to Luxembourg and will be bought by enXco, a subsididary of Electricité de France.

The order includes two 1.3 MW, four 2.3 MW and seven 2.3 MW turbines, as well as a two-year warranty and service agreement. Delivery of the turbines will begin in November and is due to be completed by the end of the year.

In a separate order, Siemens will two new wind farms, named Modi II and Kalogiris, to be built on the island of Crete in Greece. The facilities will have a total of 14 turbines including eight 600-kW turbines for the Modi II farm and six for the Kalogiris facility. Purchaser is the Rokas Group
