The supply order has been placed by Northern Luzon UPC Asia, AC Energy and Philippine Investment Alliance for Infrastructure that comprises Government Service Insurance System, APG and Macquarie Infrastructure.
As per the agreed terms, the company will supply 27 units of direct drive wind turbines of the type SWT-3.0-101, with an installed capacity of 3MW and a rotor diameter of 101m.
In addition, the scope of the contract includes a five-year-service agreement, the company said.
The installation and commissioning of the turbines at the wind power project is slated for 2014.
