Located in the industrial zone in the port of Rotterdam, the Enecogen gas-fired combined-cycle plant includes two single-shaft units and attains an efficiency of more than 59.5%.
The facility, which was erected by Siemens as a turnkey project, is expected to generate enough electricity to power more than 1.4 million households.
Siemens supplied two SGT5-4000F gas turbines, two SST5-5000 steam turbines, two hydrogen-cooled generators and the entire electrical and SPPA-T3000 I&C equipment for the power project.
