Mechanically enhanced bio-drying process requires no external heat source as it uses the energy produced by microbes in the sludge reducing costs of operation by 30% compared to thermal drying processes.
City of Shenyang in China will be the first to employ this method at a large wastewater plant to dry 1,000 metric tons of wet sludge per day.
