Siemens West Chicago manufacturing facilities comprise 200,000sq ft in two buildings.

Siemens also manufactures motor control centers, enclosed motor starters, switchboards and control cabinets at the facilities.

The West Chicago plant is expected to produce inverters with an annual output of about 500MW.
