SGS Renewable Energy Services has been selected to act as owner’s marine engineer.
In this role, the company will provide its services for the technical assessment of the sub-sea cable specifications, procurement, and installation to meet project objectives in terms of safety, costs, planning, operation and maintenance.
In addition, it will also carry out risk management and Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) support for the project.
SGS Renewable Energy’s independent inspection, verification and testing services include design basis and site assessment, site specific design assessment, supply chain reviews and inspections, manufacturing surveys, loading supervision, installation monitoring and supervision, commissioning monitoring and supervision, and in-service maintenance inspections.
