Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Ltd (THDC) will start seven new projects that will have a generation capacity of more than 1000MW.
The company has signed an agreement with the Uttaranchal state government to implement six projects with a combined capacity of 695MW.
The Uttaranchal government has allotted the hydro projects of Karmoli (140MW), Jadhganaga (50MW), Gohana Tal (60MW), Malari Jhelam (55MW), Jelam Tamak (55MW) and Bokang Bailing (330MW) to THDC for development.
