The oil is produced on a 40/64 choke from the Namur Sandstone, which is expected to include about 400,000 barrels of recoverable oil within the Burruna structure.

The oil production from the well is expected to be restricted to around 800bopd, to facilitate transportation scheduling and oil storage optimization.

Senex is the operator of PEL 115 permit with 80% stake, while partner Planet Gas holds remaining 20% interest, and the JV also plans to drill the Burruna-3 appraisal well, once the Ensign Rig 48 completes Pirraminta-2 exploration well in PEL 514.

The JV intends to target Namur Sandstone, as well as Murta and Birkhead formations in the Burruna-3 appraisal well, and is situated around 564m south east of Burruna-2 well.
