Each firm will hold a 50% stake in the wind farm, with Sempra continuing to offer operations and maintenance services for the plant, which is located in Custer county.
Construction on the wind farm started in January 2014 and commercial operations began in October this year.
The wind farm features 43 turbines, which will generate enough renewable energy for about 30,000 homes in Nebraska.
Nebraska Public Power District has agreed to buy the electricity generated from the wind farm under a 25-year contract.
Sempra U.S. Gas & Power vice president of renewables Kevin Sagara said: "We are pleased to partner with Consolidated Edison Development on our newest wind farm as we continue to diversify our renewables portfolio and demonstrate our commitment to clean energy development.
"This strategy supports our ongoing plan to redeploy proceeds into new renewable projects."
ConEdison Development senior vice president and chief operating officer Mark Noyes said: "ConEdison Development has built a strong working relationship with Sempra U.S. Gas & Power, and we believe that this first joint wind project will be as successful and beneficial as our joint solar facilities."
Earlier in 2014, Sempra and ConEdison have agreed to partner in five solar projects in Nevada and California.
Both the firms have to date have partnered in six solar facilities and one wind farm.
