All nine drill holes were focused on the XY Central deposit in order to provide sample media for ongoing test work in support of the feasibility study.
The Selwyn zinc-lead project is undertaken by Selwyn Chihong Mining, the joint venture owned by Selwyn and Chihong Canada.
The highlights from the results include a 45.08m true thickness grading 7.57% zinc and 2.65% lead, including 6.19m of grading 26.41% zinc and 10.34% lead in XYC-297, correlating with adjacent high-grade intercepts, reinforcing the confidence in the detailed 3D modeling.
Drill hole XYC-298 intersected high-grade mineralization from 340.10 to 368.00m for a true thickness of 27.23m grading of 8.35% zinc and 2.76% lead, including 4.29m grading 25.02% zinc and 10.17% lead.
The company said the results from the metallurgical drilling program also continue to confirm the 3D geological and structural models for the XY Central deposit.
