Mr Hemphill manages and administers Southern California Edison’s (SCE) $2.5-billion portfolio of renewable and alternative power contracts. His organization also handles agreements related to customer generation applications, including distributed generation, photovoltaic and wind technologies.
Mr Hemphill has held a variety or positions since joining SCE in 1987 as an engineer in the company’s system planning organization, where he evaluated new investments in transmission, distribution, generation and energy efficiency.
