Scatec Solar will design, build, and commission the solar facility, which is developed by Copcon, as well as perform regular maintenance of the finished PV park.
Upon completion, the solar facility will be connected to the grid in August this year.
The power plant is expected to produce in excess of 2.3 million kWh annually, enough to cover the electricity needs of more than 600 families.
The PV plant will utilize nearly 10,600 REC modules and a number of SMA inverters providing a total effect of 2.497MWp.
Scatec Solar said compared to traditional power production, this PV plant will represent CO2 savings of about 1.4 million kg per year.
