Asset management solutions provider SARS will launch its UtilityEye remote tank monitoring system to members of the US-based National Propane Gas Association at the International Propane Expo in Atlanta, Georgia, scheduled to be held from March 30, 2008 to March 31, 2008.

SARS noted that with over 500 million liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tanks worldwide, including over five million in the US, it sees a huge growth potential for its UtilityEye solution.

The firm said that by helping its customers to remotely monitor tank levels, it allows them to reduce fuel costs by eliminating the need for repeat trips and unnecessary stops.

Clayton Shelver, CEO of SARS, said: UtilityEye has taken the lead in above-ground propane tank monitoring. Its the only system of its kind which provides a non-invasive ultrasonic solution to continuously monitor the content level of propane tanks.
