The company said that the scope of work will consist of the engineering, procurement and construction, along with commissioning and testing, of two desulphurisation units and two amine regeneration units (URA) and relative auxiliary systems.
The facilities will be built at the Miguel Hidalgo refinery near the town of Tula de Allende, approximately 150km north of Mexico City and 2,000mt above sea level, and at the Antonio M Amor refinery, near the town of Salamanca, approximately 300km northwest of Mexico City and 1,700mt above sea level.
Saipem said that it expects the contracts to be completed within a period of 38 months.
Furthermore, in the Middle East and West Africa, Saipem has agreed with its clients for various increases in the scope of its work on existing onshore contracts.
